Big Five Golf Safaris - Terms and Conditions
1. Booking and Payment Terms
- A deposit of 30% is required to confirm your booking
- Full payment is due 60 days before departure
- Payment can be made by bank transfer, credit card, or certified check
- All prices are quoted in US Dollars unless otherwise specified
2. Cancellation Policy
- More than 90 days before departure: 10% cancellation fee
- 61-90 days before departure: 25% cancellation fee
- 31-60 days before departure: 50% cancellation fee
- Less than 30 days before departure: 100% cancellation fee
3. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance to cover:
- Trip cancellation and interruption
- Medical expenses and emergency evacuation
- Lost or delayed baggage
- Golf equipment coverage
4. Health and Safety
- Guests are responsible for ensuring they meet all health requirements
- Malaria prophylaxis may be recommended for certain areas
- All activities are undertaken at the guest's own risk
- Guests must follow safety guidelines provided by guides and staff
5. Golf Equipment and Requirements
- Golf clubs can be rented at most courses
- Proper golf attire is required at all courses
- Golf carts are available at most venues
- Handicap certificates may be required at some courses
6. Accommodation
- Accommodation is based on double occupancy unless specified
- Single supplements apply for sole occupancy
- Room preferences will be accommodated where possible
- Check-in and check-out times vary by property
7. Transportation
- Airport transfers are included as specified in tour packages
- Private transportation can be arranged at additional cost
- International flights are not included unless specified
- Domestic flights are included where indicated
8. What's Included
Unless otherwise specified, tour packages typically include:
- Accommodation as specified
- Meals as indicated in itinerary
- Green fees at scheduled golf courses
- Game drives and safari activities
- Professional guides and transfers
- Park entrance fees
9. What's Not Included
- International airfare
- Travel insurance
- Personal expenses and tips
- Alcoholic beverages (unless specified)
- Golf equipment rental
- Spa treatments and optional activities
10. Force Majeure
Big Five Golf Safaris is not liable for any delays, changes, or cancellations
due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Weather conditions
- Natural disasters
- Political situations
- Airline schedule changes
- Government regulations
11. Liability
Big Five Golf Safaris acts as an agent for hotels, airlines, and other service
providers. We are not liable for their acts or omissions. Our liability is
limited to the tour cost paid to us.
12. Complaints and Disputes
Any complaints should be reported immediately to our local representative.
Disputes will be resolved according to South African law.
13. Privacy Policy
Personal information is collected solely for tour purposes and will not be
shared with third parties except as necessary for tour services.
14. Changes to Terms
These terms may be updated periodically. The current version is available
